Fall in Austin, Texas has got to be my favorite time to photograph weddings. Yes, it’s December, but for us Texans, that means fall is in full force and we are waiting to see if winter will ever come 🙂 Weddings in the fall have so much creative freedom, and I am beyond excited that Amanda decided to take full advantage of the season, and Austin’s amazing vendors! The genius Antonio with Transplants Floral incorporated fruits into the table runner and I was so impressed with how much it added to the intimate feel of Shawn and Amanda’s wedding. I’m talking artichokes, blackberries, pomegranates, and whole bunches of grapes throughout the centerpieces. I’ll say it again… Genius!
Amanda and Shawn knew they wanted a small event, and wanted to include all the special people, places and things that contributed to their relationship. Only their closest family and friends were in attendance, they chose a cake topper that represented their love for cycling together, and even ordered a wine box as a cake stand from where Shawn proposed! I just love all the thoughtful details!
Amanda and Shawn, I wish you two the best in this newest journey together. Reading through your books of adventures not only had me wishing I was wine tasting in California, but grateful to witness a strong love that is as genuine as they come. Thank you both so much for choosing me to share and document your big day. Enjoy your time in Mexico!
